ATLANTA, GA — The Democracy Defense Project – Georgia issued the following statement regarding the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s raid of the Fulton County Elections Office:
“The 2020 election has been audited, litigated, and debated exhaustively. Reckless and unfounded conspiracies have come and gone, but the outcome in Georgia has not changed. Georgians have made clear that they want elected officials to be focused on the future, not re-litigating the past.
“This raid and the breathless accusations to come do nothing to change prior results. They only undermine public trust and participation in our democracy going forward.
“As proud Georgians, we must stand firm in the truth and refuse to let this political circus erode confidence in our election process.”
